The Blueridge80 project.

The Blueridge80 project is an 80-acre farm that we will be converting into a whitetail paradise. This property is a split of 50% timber and 50% cropland. It has one small clover plot on it and other than that, there has been no managing for whitetails done. This project will be a 3 to 4 year project where we will be documenting everything we do to improve deer habitat. We will be documenting deer movement, and placing 3 to 4 trail cams on the property to help keep track of deer activity. Each month for the duration of the project, we will update you to what we have done and learned. These cameras will stay out 24/7, 365 in the same spot for the duration of the project. We will show that Managing4whitetails “farmboy” style works great and we will have the data in black and white to prove you can improve the carrying capacity and quality at the same time.
